| I have owned sure headphones also and have to say these are better, I originally owned the fi3 UE and after my dog got a hold of them I had to get another pair. After reading some reviews on the EB version I had to spring for these, I would say these are not for everyone, but if you have a system with a sub these are for you |

I am no audiophile, but i know what i like. I have tried all kinds of brands and styles of headphones and earphones and my favorite are over the ear noise canceling. The problem is they are not very portable. I started a month long odyssey to find ear buds that came close and these BLOW away anything else i have tried. The bass is incredible. It is strong and clean and there is no hint of that god awful rattling you get with some other high bass output phones. The high and mids are also clean and mix perfectly with the bass to let you hear the music the artist intended. I could go on and on but quite simply, the best sounding headphones i have ever heard bar none and i have listed to a lot.
2 things.
#1 - They may take some getting used to. This was one of the few in canal earphones i have used before and it is about as comfortable as the rest at first. It comes with several different cushions, but i think it just takes a little time to get used to. I don't even feel them anymore. Maybe it is just me - shoving something into my ear like that reminds me of the worm in Wrath of Kahn and that does not help much.
#2 - While they are not true "noise canceling" they may as well be. BE CRAEFUL When wearing these as you will not hear ANYTHING else. When i am at my desk my phone which is < 1 foot away will ring all day and i will not hear it. I stepped off the curb in front of a truck i did not hear and almost got hit a few weeks ago. Perhaps the most ringing endorsement of all - when my kids (5 of them) are screaming i can't hear them at all :)
